1. About the Service

ShortDramaBase is a web-based discovery and playback interface for short-form video series. The Service helps users browse catalogs, resume viewing, manage favorites and watch history, and access optional paid features such as VIP membership or virtual coins.

ShortDramaBase does not operate as a traditional video hosting platform. We do not upload, store, or permanently host video files on our servers. Playback is facilitated by retrieving publicly available third-party streaming URLs through automated indexing processes.

These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Privacy Policy or elsewhere in the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service, or the minimum age required in your region if higher. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with applicable laws where you live.

3. Third-Party Content and Playback

Titles, descriptions, cover art, tags, and playback addresses displayed on the Service may originate from publicly accessible third-party websites and services. Such materials remain the property of their respective owners. ShortDramaBase does not claim ownership of indexed third-party content unless expressly stated.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the Service interface and initiate playback through the links and tools we provide, solely for private, non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, redistribute, publicly perform, modify, reverse engineer, scrape, re-index, or create derivative works from the Service or third-party content except where expressly permitted by law or by the rights holder.

Because content is sourced from external parties, we do not warrant that any item is licensed for your jurisdiction, free of copyright restrictions, or continuously available. Availability, quality, and legality of streams may change without notice.

Users may not upload or publish their own series through the Service unless we provide a separate written program for creators.

Fees for coins, VIP membership, or other paid features relate to access to Service functionality, account features, and convenience tools. Payment does not transfer ownership of, or a license to, any third-party audiovisual work indexed by the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited conduct includes attempting unauthorized access to accounts, servers, or payment systems; introducing malware; interfering with network operation; circumventing access controls; using automated tools to harvest data beyond normal browsing; impersonating others; harassing users; or using the Service for unlawful activity.

You are responsible for your device, browser, network connection, and any security software needed to access the Service.

We may investigate suspected violations, cooperate with authorities where required, and suspend or terminate access without prior notice when we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

5. Coins, VIP, and Purchases

Some episodes or features may require coins, VIP membership, or other paid access. Virtual balances and entitlements have no cash value outside the Service, are not transferable unless we explicitly allow it, and may be adjusted, expired, or removed when we update the Service or close an account.

Prices, packages, and renewal intervals are shown before checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the payment channel you used (such as your app store account settings) before the next billing date.

Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated at purchase, fees are non-refundable once access has been granted. Failed payments may result in suspended access until the charge succeeds.

If your account is closed or the Service is discontinued, unused virtual items or prepaid access may be forfeited without compensation.

6. Accounts and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by ceasing access and, where available, deleting locally stored data related to the Service.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users, remain inactive for an extended period, or when we discontinue all or part of the Service.

After termination, you may lose account data, viewing history, favorites, virtual balances, and paid entitlements tied to that account.

7. Feedback

If you send suggestions, ratings, bug reports, or other feedback, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use that material to operate and improve the Service without obligation to pay or credit you, unless a separate agreement says otherwise.

8. Disclaimers

The Service and all indexed content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted playback, error-free operation, complete catalogs, accuracy of metadata, or that any linked stream will remain online.

ShortDramaBase is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party websites, hosts, or rights holders. Your use of external streams is at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShortDramaBase and its operators, partners, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use the Service or any third-party content accessed through it.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Changes

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated version on this page and may provide additional notice in the Service. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Copyright and DMCA Policy

ShortDramaBase respects intellectual property rights. Because the Service indexes links to third-party material rather than hosting video files, our primary response to infringement claims is to remove or disable access to the relevant listing or playback URL on the Service.

If you are a rights holder or authorized agent and believe material accessible through the Service infringes your copyright, please send a written DMCA notice to our designated agent at [email protected]. Your notice should include: (a) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; (b) identification of the material on the Service, with sufficient detail for us to locate it (such as title, URL, or episode identifier); (c) your contact information; (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law; (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder; and (f) your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receipt of a complete and valid notice, we will review the claim and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the identified link(s) within forty-eight (48) hours. We may notify the user who submitted the affected listing where permitted by law.

If you believe material was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification containing the information required under applicable law. We may restore access if we receive a valid counter-notification and no court action is filed within the period required by law.

We may terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
